Late Omawumi Udoh

The burial ceremony for the late Delta State lawmaker, representing Warri south constituency I in the Delta state house of assembly, Hon. Omawumi Udoh has been fixed for February 24, 2017.

The late Udoh, a former Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly was reported to have passed on at a London Hospital December 2016.

According to a release by the Oki, Asmah and Udoh families, the interment of the former lawmaker will take place at No. 24 Mabiaku Link Road, GRA, Warri, even as reception is expected to follow immediately at Nana Model School Field, also in the Oil City of Warri.

The funeral announcement which was signed by Pa. Churchil Oki and Pa Oritseweyinmi Asmah for the family as well as Nsifon Udoh for the transited legislator’s children, revealed that a Commendation Outing Service will hold Thursday March 23 at Delta State House of Assembly Chamber in Okpanam Road, Asaba and a Mass for the Dead is scheduled for 6:00pm same day at St. John Mary Vienney off DBS Road, Asaba.

It will be followed with a Funeral Mass 10:00am Friday March 24 at Catholic Cathedral, Warri-Sapele Road enroute her final resting place.

A Thanksgiving Service will take place Sunday March 26 at St. John Mary Vienney, off DBS Road, Asaba.

Late Hon. Omawumi Udoh is survived by her husband, Engr. Ian Gregory Udoh, three children and two grand children.
