Again, Tompolo Writes Buhari, Says Harassment of His Family Members Worrisome

By Our Correspondent Embattled Ex-MEND leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo has written President Mohaamadu Buhari again, complaining that the alleged continues harassment and intimidation of his family members by security agencies in connivance with some APC members was becoming worrisome. Tompolo Tompolo who has been on the run after being declared wanted by the federal government for alleged corruption charges, urged President Buhari to persoanlly investigate his case and ascertain the truth. He accused the military of brutalizing his 84 years old father which later led to the amputation of his lower limps. By Francis Sadhere The dreaded militant group in the Niger Delta region, Niger Delta Avengers, (NDA) has advised the Nigerian Navy to stop arresting innocent people in the name of looking for their members. They said none of their members had been arrested by the Nigerian military, stressing that their strike team remains in tact. The group, reacting to reports that the Nigerian Navy has arrested two of their men, said in a press statement by it's spokesperson,  Mudoch Agbinibo that those arrested were not their members. A Delta state high court sitting in Sapele has sentenced five persons to ten years imprisonment each over the abduction of a 70-year old female trader, Queen Ogbor, in July 2010.
