The General Overseer of Light Way Ministry, Prophet Melody Adjija has said that he did sue the Nigeria Police for a sum of N2 billion neither did he had a case with the police in the court.

The prophet who was apparently responding to a judgement delivered by Justice Mudainohwo of an Effurun High Court in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta on May 14 said it was unfortunate that people do not evaluate issues before arriving at conclusion.

Prophet Melody said that he only petitioned the Inspector- General of Police (IGP) over a scandal preferred against him in July 2019 which he said had been put behind him long ago after intensed prayers.

The Warri-based prophet said that he was surprised to read on the social media that he had lose a N2 billion suit against the Nigeria Police.

He said that the publication was very unfortunate.

According to Prophet Adjija, “whatsoever happens in life, there are two sides to it. One should be able to hear from the other end before coming to conclusion.”

He added, “I did not sue the police for a sum of N2 billion neither did I continue any case with the police in the court. I was surprised to see my name go viral on the social media that I lost a N2 billion suit against the police.”

The popular Warri based Prophet spoke further, “we live in a world where anything that concerns pastors goes viral without proper investigation. Any blogger that wants traffic to his/her blog look for popular pastor to tarnish their image.”

He further added, “it is unfortunate that people do not evaluate issues before they conclude. Most importantly, whatsoever was said about me and are still being said are all ‘made-up’.
