Immediate past chairman of Warri South Local Government Area and PDP Chairmanship candidates for the March 6 Delta Council elections, Dr Michael Tidi, on Wednesday promised to consolidate on his past achievements if voted again for a second term.

Tidi made this promise in Warri while speaking to newsmen when the PDP LGA campaign train went round Okere, Pesu, Ugbunwague/Ekurede and Bowen wards in Warri South.

The campaign which was led by the Delta State PDP Deputy Chairman, Mr. Val Areyinka, was colourful as large crowed of PDP supporters thronged the venues in their numbers.

Speaking at the campaign rally which climaxed at Bowen ward, Areyinka urged all PDP members in Warri South to come out with their voters cards and vote for the PDP chairmanship candidate, Dr Michael Tidi and his Vice, Mrs Divine Iniovosa and all the counselors.

He said Warri South has always been a PDP council and he believed that PDP will deliver all it’s candidates during Saturday’s elections.

Chairman of the Delta South PDP,, Hon Julius Takeme, said he has come to show solidarity for the people of Warri South, adding that Warri South is the home of PDP and has one of the most vibrant and young Chairmanship candidate in Delta State.

Takeme said, “This is the beginning of the count down of our taking over Abuja. We have reject APC government and vote them out come 2023.”

Chief Thomas Ereyetomi, member representing Warri Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, said Saturday’s election will shape the narrative of PDP in 2023, adding that all PDP members must delivery all it’s candidates “so that they can work for the party in 2023.”

Dr Joseph Otumara, said politics is an expression of interest to bring happiness to the people appealing to all PDP members in Warri South to vote for all PDP candidates on Saturday.

“I also want all of you to cooperate as one in the ward. You throw away all annoyance so that we can work as one and deliver all our candidates on Saturday. The intrigue of politics and manipulation of politics is very daisy,” Otumara said.
