Delta State Government in collaboration with Radiant Vision Production Group have concluded arrangements to kick start a Nobel women empowerment programme, tagged, “ The Ideal Delta Woman Reality TV Show” just as the programme will feature Nollywood stars that would include Olu Jacobs, Ini Edo and other key players in the entertainment industry.

The production team disclosed that during a courtesy call on Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, governor of Delta State with some of it’s ambassadors that includes Olu Jacobs and Ini Edo from the movie industry apart from giving his approval, the governor and his wife also pledged their total support for the overall success of the Nobel women empowerment programme aimed at training women in diverse professional skills for maximum development.

The empowerment programme expected to roll out at the end of August, 2014 that is powered by the Delta state government through the Ministry of Women Affairs and supported by the Directorate of Culture and Tourism is expected to show case Delta state potentials in the Tourism sector in line with the Dr. Uduaghan vision of “Delta Beyond Oil”.

According to the statement, “the reality TV show is set to industrialize the state, making Delta State the China of Africa, which is of course one of the governor’s three point agenda (human capital development) and His Excellency core programme of Delta Beyond Oil, the documentary which serves as a preface to the Ideal Delta Woman Reality TV Show will be commencing by the end of August 2014.”

The statement added, added, “The Ideal Woman Reality TV Show is packaged to depict marital issue empowerment, promote women values, gender equality, reduce child mortality, child trafficking and preserve diverse cultural heritage in the State and Nigeria. The Reality TV Show is set to promote and market the potentials of Delta Women and their contributions to global sustenance. The love of Deaconess Roli Nere Uduaghan, wife of the governor of Delta state for the overall development of women in the State has propelled her to throw her weight behind the actualization of the aims of project.”

The production group then commended Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, governor of Delta State, his wife, Deaconess Roli Nere Uduaghan, Chief (Mrs.) Betty Efekodha, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Barr. Mofe Damijo, Commissioner, Directorate of Culture and Tourism for their concerted efforts in making sure the programme kicks off.
