Ajagbodudu community is an integral part of Oghara Kingdom, Ethiope Local Government Area just as unwarranted, false and provocative claim to the contrary by some group of persons no matter how highly placed would be resisted with all lawful means.

This was disclosed by Chief (Bar.) Lucky Omonigho Takpor, a legal icon in a statement made available to the National Reformer Newspaper, he said that there had been a decision of the Supreme Court of Nigeria that supports the fact that Ajagbodudu is an integral part of Oghara Kingdom.

The legal luminary and House of Assembly aspirant to represent Ethiope West State Constituency warned all exhibiting expansionist tendencies over the years that the people of Oghara Kingdom would not tolerate their antics in any way.

While also warning them to stay away from the community in their own interest, Chief Takpor called on well mening Nigerians and Deltans to as a matter of grave concern admonish these group of persons laying spurious claim to Ajagbodudu community to desist from what he described as, “their old and outdated trade which could truncate and negate the peace and tranquility of the area and perhaps the state under the peaceful tenure of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.”

According to Chief Takpor, “I wish to reiterate and declare without any equivocation whatsoever that the portion of land or territory known and called Ajagbodudu in Delta state , has from time immemorial and till date, been an integral part of Oghara Kingdom and therefore any attempt in any guise or collaboration by any group or persons and their sponsors and collaborators, no matter how highly placed, connected or the influence they may wield, to falsely lay claim to the territory of Ajagbodudu, shall not only be vehemently resisted with all lawful means but would culminate in abysmal failure.”

The legal luminary added, “let me also warn that those who have over time exhibited a propensity and penchant for expansionist tendencies should by now be aware that the peace loving, progressive and good people of Oghara Kingdom would not in any manner tolerate their antics and therefore, they should stay away from Ajagbodudu in their own interest. This is not the first time such unscrupulous and spurious claim to Ajagbodudu would emanate from such quarters, but suffice it to state that there have been decisions by the apex court in the land which supports the fact that Ajagbodudu is an integral part of Oghara Kingdom.”

It was alleged that Warri North Local Government Area, neighbours to
Ethiope West Local Government Area had laid claim to Ajagbodudu.
