The All Progressive Congress APC, Delta Central Senatorial District candidate, Chief Ede Dafinone has said that the reason why the APC is planning to takeover leadership from the People’s Democratic Party in Delta was to ensure that jobs would be created for the teeming unemployed youths in the state.

Dafinone said this at Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State when he paid a courtesy visit to APC Chieftain, Arch-Bishop Philip Orowodje.

Dafinone, who was accompanied by the Director General of his Campaign Organization, Olorogun (Barr.) Adelabu Bodjor, and his team, said they decided to stop over briefly at the house of Arch-Bishop Orowodje, to notify him that they would pay him a special visit in no distant time.

Also in the entourage of the APC Senatorial candidate were, Chief Francis Atanomeyovwi, Senior Political Adviser, Chief Tuesday Onoge, Chairman, Elders and Leaders Council, Mr. Sam Omoko, Senior Special Assistant to Dafenone and Mr. Ese Sam Dafinone, SSA (Special Duties).

Responding to the visit, Arch-Bishop Orowodje commended Dafinone for honouring him with the visit, promising that APC will stand solidly behind him and other candidates of the party to ensure that they take back the reigns of power from the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the state.

He said Dafinone is credible and intellectually sound, morally groomed and socially concerned about the issues of Delta Central’s common development, adding that Dafinone would give Urhobo a resounding voice at the Senate.
