Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi has wished the people of Warri a very happy new year, saying that Warri deserves to be proud of where it is today.

Tidi, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere, said “We have all come a far way handling several restrictions from the past couple of years owing to recent scenarios around the world. And we all deserve to be proud of where we are today even if it’s not where we thought we would be.”

The Warri South Council Boss said that this new year is a time to remember those who stood by us in need and forgive those who hurt us, intentionally or unintentionally, adding that, “For everyone we know is going through something we know nothing about.”

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South Local Government Area, I want to felicitate with the people of Warri South Council Area as they celebrate this new year.

“May the New Year start with fresh joys and a life filled with peace. May we get warmth and togetherness and prosperity too.

“This new year will bring all the success we desire. May all our goals be achieved, and our purposes be fulfilled! Happy New Year!,” Tidi added.
