The Warri South West Ijaw Entertainment Forum (WSWIEF) on Saturday endorsed Warri South West House of Assembly hopeful, comrade Sheriff Mulade to represent them at the Delta State House of Assembly seat.

The forum which endorsed Comrade Mulade at Ogbe-Ijoh, headquarters of Warri South West local government area of the state said they are endorsing Comrade Mulade because they know that he is the man that will lead the constituency to greater height.

President of the Forum, Prince Justus Donokoromo said the forum decided to endorse Comrade Mulade because of his track record of integrity and the way he has been fighting the course of the ordinary Ijaw man in the riverine areas of the state.

He said, “Comrade Sheriff Mulade  is our man. He has been fighting for our environment for so many years now and we know that if he goes to the State House of Assembly he is going to do the same for us. We believe that he has all that is needed to represent the people of Warri South West local government area.

“We also want to use this opportunity to let the world know that we are equally endorsing Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro for 2019.”

Responding, Comrade Mulade commended the forum for endorsing him, the Governor and his deputy, assuring them that he will not disappoint them as he will bring the necessary development to the people of Warri South West council area.

He added that his ambition to run for the Warri South West House of Assembly seat was a divine call, stressing that he believes that it is only God that gives power to people.

Comrade Mulade said, “I am not in this race for myself but for the people. I do not promise people what I can not do. A lot of people have come and have promised you a lot of things. I like to do what I think is needful. Some people say that politics is a dirty game but I believe that politics is decent and honourable game that can enable you to develop your people.

“My primary concern is how to bring development to Ogbe-Ijoh local government. Ogbe-Ijoh is the most under-developed local government area in Delta state. We have a lot cummunals challenges and we need to talk of peace building.

“I did not see the four corners of a school wall while I was living in the village with my mother.  This is why are going to look at education especially at the primary and secondary schools level. If I get there I will ensure that the every child in Warri South West has access to school.

“I grew up in the village and myself and my mother used to fish. But today we cannot do that because the waters have been polluted and we can no longer catch fish. For this reason, I will ensure that I fight for justice for the people living in the riverine areas.

Speaking to journalist in a chart, Comrade Mulade said, “I am very happy that these entertainers from Warri South West have found me worthy to be endorsed for the Warri South West Delta State House of Assembly race. This goes to show that I do not have any opposition in this region and it also shows my popularity in the region.

“The people in Warri South West have endorsed me on several occasions. Almost all the communities in the region have endorsed me in one way or the other and I do not even know some of them. This forum is endorsing me, the governor and his deputy. So I will say that in Warri South West it victory for the governor and myself.”
