While saying that kingdom played enormous role in recording the highest vote in the state that led to his re-election (Governor Okowa), the Olotus assured of the kingdom’s support to the government of the day in building a stronger Delta State.

They also commended Mr. Hilary Ibegbulem for his contribution to the development of Ute-Okpu Kingdom, they urged him and other political appointees from the kingdom not relent on their oars but to continue to attract more dividends of democracy to the area.

Mr. Udumeh then pleaded with Comrade Ikeogwu to ensure he gets their message to Governor Okowa just as they commended him for being a worthy some of Ute-Okpu Kingdom.

In his remarks, Com. Ikeogwu Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) described the appeal of the Ute Youth leaders as germane, as they did not resort to protest to press home their demand.

Comrade Ikeogwu promised to use relevant medium available to get their appeal across to the state Governor, noting that Governor Okowa is widely referred as the road master and it will not take him much to address their road and other challenges.
