Princess Shola Ogbemi-Daibo

Chairman of the Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi, has congratulated former Delta State House of Assembly member who represented Warri South Constituency 1, Princess Shola Ogbemi-Daibo, on her nomination as commissioner designate

Tidi in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere, commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for nominating Ogbemi-Daibo as commissioner.

It will be recalled that, Hon. Daibo was elected to the House under the Accord Party on April 26, 2017 as replacement for the late Omawumi Udoh who was until her demise, the member representing Warri South Constituency 1.

Ogbemi-Daibo later changed her alliance from Accord Party to the State Ruling Party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ogbemi-Daibo’s name was among the 15 commissioner designate names Governor Okowa sent to the Delta State House of Assembly for confirmation, Thursday.

Tidi stated that Ogbemi-Daibo, represented her constituency well as she contributed in no small way in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people when she was in the House.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South Local Government Area, I want to congratulate Hon. Princess Shola Ogbemi-Daibo, on your nomination as one of the new commissioner nominees.

“Your nomination as a Commissioner in this administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has indeed shown how valuable your service is to the state.

“As a former House of Assembly member, you represented your constituency well and ensured that the dividends of democracy trickled down to the people in the grass roots.

“I want to thank our amiable Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for nominating you into his cabinet and to come serve,” Tidi stated.
