The military intelligence of Nigerian Army has arrested the suspected killer of Maj-Gen. Muhammadu Mamman Shuwa (rtd) in the early hours of Monday.

Shuwa was killed by suspected Boko Haram gunmen on at his Customs Area residence, barely hours to jumat prayers in Maiduguri.

Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman disclosed this Monday, in a statement issued to newsmen in Maiduguri.

The statement reads in part: “The ever hardworking military intelligence have grabbed the suspected killer of Mohammed Shuwa (rtd), Commander 3 Brigade will parade him and brief the press in Kano shortly.”
