Chairman of the Warri South Council Area, Dr Michael Tidi on Thursday, condoles with Mr Esimaje Awani and his family over the death of their mother, Madam Elizabeth Ogholaja.

Tidi who was accompanied by the Secretary to the Warri South Local Government, Mr Joseph Oribioye, Chairman of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Warri South Local Government chapter, Comrade Raymond Emiko, and others, said the news of the death of Madam Oghalaja was a big blow to the council.

Tidi said the late Madam Oghalaja was a role model to everybody in Warri South Local Government Area.

While apologizing for not making the visit earlier, Tidi said staffers of the council have lost so many people within the last three months, saying that this, coupled with other engagement were responsible for his making the visit late.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Warri South Council Area, I condole with you and your family over the death of your mother, Late Madam Elizabeth Ogholaja.

“May God give you, your family and her numerous associates the fortitude to bear this death,” Tidi said.

Responding Mr Esimaje Awani said he was very happy and highly honored with the visit.

He said the visit was precious to him because of the good relationship he has with the Warri South Council Chairman.

According to Awani, the burial of his mother, which is coming up on the 18th of December, would not have been complete without this visit by the Warri South Council Chairman.

“I want to thank you very much for this visit. I am highly honored. The burial of my mother that is coming soon would not have been complete without this visit. Now I believe that Warri South will bury my mother for me,” Esimaje said.
