The highly anticipated 2015 presidential election has come and gone with great expectation of the president. Elect Gen. Mohammadu Buhari with the glare eyes of the people and the in-tensional  community leaving a sight of relief after the outcome of the result. It was precisely, the battle of the titans, between PDP and APC. Certainly, we salutes the true heroes of our democracy, notably the president – elect Gen Buhari, president Goodluck Jonathan and moreso, the teaming Nigerians.

BUSINESS MAN

Mr.  Ben Obi, A trader in Yenagoa, said the president should enshrine good governance, reduce corruption to the barest minimum, provision of low cost housing for the common man on the street, as a great lender, he should set up price control board, in check-mating  indiscriminate rice of prices of goods and services. In another development, Obi stressed that administration of education is high but, school fees in higher institution should be reduced
considerably, in the country, in primary and secondary schools should be made free and compulsory. Tasking the new president elect to implement the out of the contact.

CIVIL SERVANT

Chief Ken was I, a civil servant in Yenagoa advice the president elect to review the salary and welfare scheme of civil servants in the country for up ward review; a councilor in a Local Government is earning more than a university professor how can the country develop? The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, the president elect as a matter of urgency should initiate youth employment and empowerment programmes in the country to improve the living conditions of the youths in the country especially graduates from higher institutions. The insurgency in the north especially in the North East should be reduced or completely eliminated, an innocent soul has been sent to their untimely graves. Boko Haram leadership should be called to order through dialogue.

HOUSE WIFE Mrs. Fortune: A married woman leader has tasked the president elect to provide welfare packages for women in the country, several incentives, especially loans scheme should be made available to the women to improve their living standards. Moreso, as a national policy, the aged should be paid monthly, when attained a particular age, notably from 80 years above, “there is enough money in the country to take care of the elders in the society, who have contributed no small measure in the country in the past,
should be considered for that welfare incentive” The woman leader also, appealed to the president –elect to reduce the prices of fuel products, moreso, reduce the transportation cost nation wide.

Student-  Mr. Ebiye Sambo, a student of Niger Delta University Amassoma, tasks the president elect to revived the issue of boarding schools nation wide this will help the education development rapidly, stressing that during his campaign free feeding of pupils and students is a welcome development when implemented. Sambo equally said, the verdict of the national confab should be implemented to the latter, also tasking the president elect to subsidize fuel prices among others.

Finally, the electoral umpire, although several challenges exists, but INEC should note seriously in subsequent elections in its conduct in ensuring credible, free and fair elections nation wide, also the same vein the issus of north  south Dichotomy should be reduced to the barest minimum, there should be unity, peace and love  in the country, above all, our chibok girls that were kidnapped should be released by all means through the collective efforts of Nigerians, and the insurgency especially in the North East, should be stop in this new incoming president.
