The Soft Touch Global, a peace advocacy group recently visited the less privileged of Heart of Delta Orphanage home in the oil rich city of Warri as part of its itinerary to mark this year’s International Peace Day, just as it called on the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government administration to focus on policies and programmes that will alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians.

Mrs Adu Cecilia, the Patron received the gift items on behalf of the Heart of Delta Orphanage home

Speaking to newsmen in the oil rich city of Warri, the Director General of STG, High Chief Assay Omamuzo Anthony, the Omoha-Isi of Okpe Isoko kingdom disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari should focus more on policies that will transform Nigeria as a country to international standard.

Chief Omamuzo therefore called on the Federal Government to initiate laudable policies and programmes in the interest of Nigerians at every given opportunity where citizens will have a sense of belonging.

He said in line with this year’s International Peace Day, the group in particular and society in general cares for the less privileged. A little love shown to orphans in our society keep them going. This visit is to build confidence on the inmates even in their situation, they can still participate in celebrating International Peace Day.”

According to the Chief Admin of STG Chat platform, “It has become customary for this group to add value to the celebration of International Peace Day by initiating people oriented activities like this visitation/presentation of gifts to less privileged ones in a bid to assure the general public that STG belongs to the people, saying it does not take so much to take care of the needs of the needy in our society.”

Presenting the gift items on behalf of STG to the Patron of Heart of Delta Orphanage home, Mrs Adu Cecilia; High Chief Assay said it is imperative to give inmates sense of belonging. They need all the love and care that we can shower on them. We must all try as much as possible to live for the orphans in our society. Celebrating with them to me, add value to their lives.

Items delivered were several cartons of indomie,toiletries Sun light detergents,Bathing Soaps,toilet roll, Crates of Eggs,Mama lemon,Cartons of Biscuits, Lucozade boost,Ribena juice,Golden morn and several other items

Mrs Adu Cecilia, the Patron received the gift items on behalf of the Heart of Delta Orphanage home, expressed gratitude to the Soft Touch Global (STG) for finding time to visit the Home.

The Patron said: “I want to sincerely thank all of you for finding time to visit us and more importantly for the donation of various items to us. God bless you. But like Oliver Twist, we will continue to ask for more; remember us always because it is not easy running a place like this.”
