The Senior Special Adviser on Media to the Edo State Governor, Benin Honourable Curtis Ugbo has called on all well meaning Nigerians to contribute towards the development of the entertainment industry in Nigeria.

Curtis Ugbo  who acted as the mock speaker of the house after the sealing off of the house by the law enforcement agencies made the call at the unveiling ceremony of the entertainers association of Edo State in Benin City.

He posited that, the Edo State Government under the leadership of Comrade Adams Oshiomole has made arrangements to meet the yearnings of the association adding that to his understanding, the body have submitted their memoir to the governor and he has given his consent which he believes he will fulfill before his tenure runs out.

Ugbo noted That everybody in the country knows the economy reality of the nation and that the government will not lament over it but would do all it could to revamp the entertainment sector with the view of creating jobs for all interested individuals who want to make a career in the make believe industry as the time to look inward for another avenue for job opportunity is now instead of depending on oil as a mainstay of the economy.

He further rated the administration of governor Oshiomole to seventy-five percent with the believe that by the end of his tenure, he may have been rated hundred percent in service delivery to the people of Edo state; adding that, the governor has performed excellently in all facets in the past seven years and that he deserves commendations even though some pockets of politicians are not fair to him in their judgments.
