It was all joy at Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area recently,
when the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) family turned out in large
numbers for a victory party courtesy of both Evang. (Engr) Henry
Odhegolor (JP), a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and Hon.
Comr. Emmanuel Egbabor, the Executive Chairman of Isoko North LGA.

The celebration according to the Host, Engr. Henry Odhegolor was
packaged to rejoice over the election victories of all the PDP
candidadtes who took part in the March and April 2015 general
elections. Engr. Odhegolor explained that, the victories of the
candidates who included Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa as the
Governor-elect, Sen. James Manager of Delta South Senatorial District,
Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor Okuweh, member representing Isoko Nation in the
Fedral House of Representatives and Hon. Barr. Tim Owhefere as the Law
maker representing Isoko North in the State House of Assembly
signified a boost and consolidation of the on-going democracy in Delta
State and Isoko Nation.
Odhegolor said that, celebrating the victory of PDP in the State and
Isoko is to celebrate their credibility and competence in leadership
and meaningful representation.
On his part, Hon. Comr. Emmanuel Egbabor however thanked God and the
people of Isoko North for ensuring the victories of the party
candidates in the State through Senate to House of Representative and
State House of Assembly acknowledging Engr. Odhegolor over the
initiative.
Egbabor who commended the people of Isoko North and Deltans for
voting PDP also urged Deltans to keep fate with the party never to see
PDP as opposition to APC at the Federal level saying that, PDP remains
the party of his dream and Delta State as a PDP controlled State will
give Deltans the best they so desire with Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa whom
he said is well grounded in governance.
The LGA Boss who described Okowa as a credible, and accomodable
leader averred that, the expectation from this coming government is
relatively khigh, urging Okowa to work co-operatively with the Local
Government Chairman across the State to enable the grassroot deliver
to their people the gains of democracy.
