Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Delta state, Dr Michael Tidi, has expressed optimism that the New Year, 2023, will be brighter than the previous year, as his administration remains committed to the development the Council.

The Council Boss stated this in his New Year Message to the people of Warri South Council area, and urged them to remain united and focused on the course of developing the council area, irrespective of ethnic, religious or political differences.

In the message contained in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere, in Warri on Saturday, December 2022, Tidi, felicitated with the people of Warri South Council area and all Nigerians as they stepped into 2023 and expressed gratitude to God for the grace granted the council and its citizens in 2022.

Tidi prayed for unity, peace and development in the council, urging the people to remain supportive of government, saying that peace remained the bedrock of meaningful development in any society.

Tidi, also expressed hope that 2023 would be a year of fulfillment as the his administration remained on the right part to sustainable development.

He said that given his administration’s modest strides in the past five years, he has no doubt that with the same level of cooperation from the good people of Warri South, they will achieve more in all facets of governance.

“Our administration has recorded successes in the last five years because God was in control and it is my hope that 2023 will be a year of fulfillment for all as the council remains on the right part to sustainable development.

“In the last five years, we have seen God work magnificently in our lives, and as a people we have every reason to thank God and I can confidently say that we have seen God at work in Warri South..

“So, let us look up to the new year with the same zeal of a people with a capacity to excel even in difficult situations.

“On behalf of my family, the Executive Council of Warri South and the Warri South legislative Arm, I wish you all a very prosperous new year ahead,” Tidi said.
