Chairmanship hopeful of Ethiope East Local Government Council Area of Delta State in the October 25 2014 council elections, Chief (Mrs.) Faith Majemite, has appointed Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe as her Director of Political Communication and Special Adviser on Political Propaganda Management .

Majemite made this announcement in a press statement signed by her and made available to our correspondent in Warri.

She said; “I had fruitful discussions recently in Lagos with our brother, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, a reputable Media and Political Communications Consultant, to take charge of my campaign information machinery as the Director of Political Communication and Special Adviser on Political Propaganda Management.

She noted that Dr. Oghenesivbe is tested and trusted, saying that she had counted him worthy to handle the all important unit of her campaign group, adding that Dr. Oghenesivbe will work closely with her and their great party’s Governorship candidate in the 2015 general elections as well as the executive members of Faith Majemite Solidarity Movement (FMSM) for the actualization of her ambition of becoming the next Executive Chairman of Ethiope East LG Council.

According to the statement, Dr. Oghenesivbe “is currently the Principal Partner at Proskills & Associates. He holds a PhD in Literature, Master Degree in Public & International Affairs, a Bachelors of Science Degree in Political Science and a Law Degree from the University of Lagos. He is a member of several intellectual bodies and organizations including the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), the Goodluch Jonathan Support Group GSG), American Political Science Association (APSA), et al.”

Chief Majemite called on her friends, family members, political associates, PDP State and LGA leadership, party faithful, political sons and daughters, political bosses, as well as her royal fathers to support her political ambition.

She promised the people of the Council that she will serve them and the communities, using available financial material and human resources to foster uncommon transformation and rapid development in the council, adding that her administration will open a new page in progressive local government administration like never before.

“Please Support my great vision to bring uncommon development to our people. The official declaration rally of my people-oriented campaign train for the October 25 2014 LGA Elections will be announced through social and mass media,” Majemite stated.

While trusting God to give her the required wisdom and capacity to bring development to her people, she highlighted some of her agenda to include; bringing local government administration closer to the people at the Grassroots, planning and executing people oriented programmes that would trigger uncommon development in her communities and attracting government attention for rapid economic development.

Others include; working out deliberate socio-economic and infrastructural projects that would empower her people especially the teaming youths in Ethiope East, keying into PDP new leadership strategies of Mr. President’s transformation agenda at the grassroots and to remain loyal to His Excellency, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, party leadership and constituted authorities.
