Group Hails Appointment Of Otuaro As Presidential Amnesty Boss
The Niger Delta Indigenous Movement for Radical Change has hailed the appointment of Dennis Otuaro PhD as the Presidential Amnesty Boss.
President Bola Tinubu had on Thursday, March 14th, 2024, approved the appointment of Otuaro PhD as the new Presidential Amnesty Boss.
The Niger Delta Indigenous Movement for Radical Change, while congratulating the new Presidential Amnesty Boss, Otuaro on his appointment, lauded President Bola Tinubu for the appointment.
In a statement signed by its President, Nelly Emma, John Sailor (Secretary) and Mukoro Stanley (P.R.O.), the group described the appointment of Otuaro As Presidential Amnesty Boss as well deserved, saying that the President made a wise choice.
According to the Statement; ” We wish to congratulate Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, PhD on his well deserved appointment as the Presidential Amnesty Boss by President Bola Tinubu. The entire people of the Niger Delta Region are so excited about this appointment because the new Presidential Amnesty Boss is a round peg in a round hole. He is going to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new appointment”.
“The new Presidential Amnesty Boss Otuaro has been deeply involved in the struggle for a better deal for the people of the Niger Delta Region and we know for sure that he is going to breath a fresh air into the Presidential Amnesty Programme. He is very capable of reviving the Presidential Amnesty Programme for the benefit of the people”, the group stated.
The Group also wrote; ” We should all give the new Presidential Amnesty Boss, Otuaro the needed support for the Sustainable Development of the Region. He knows the pains of our youths and others in the region. President Bola Tinubu has done well for us in the Niger Delta Region for the wise choice of Chief Otuaro As Presidential Amnesty Boss and once again, we congratulate the man of the people for this well deserved appointment, he will make good use of his new position to bring the needed change in the Presidential Amnesty Programme”.
The Group stated that; He has the knowledge of the Creeks of the Niger Delta Region in his palms. He is very knowledgeable about the pathetic situation of the Region. He was there when the agitation for a better deal for the Region was at its peak. In fact, he put his life at risk for his people by abandoning the comfort of his home and moved into the Creeks. He left his beautiful wife and lovely children behind to do the needful for his beloved people who are in the midst of plenty and yet poor. He laid down his life for a Region flowing with Milk and honey, but none for his suffering people. True, he staked his life for the struggle for a fair treatment of the oil rich but neglected region”.
“As someone who has been hungry for the development of the Region that feeds the nation, Chief Dennis Otuaro PhD is going to bring his enviable knowledge of the region to bear in his new appointment as the Presidential Amnesty Boss”, the Group added.
