AN All Progressives Congress Senatorial Aspirant for the forth coming bye-election in Delta Central, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor has assured the people of the district a better deal when elected.

Olorogun Emerhor gave this assurance when he paid a courtesy call on Elder statesman, Chief (Dr.) Morrison Olori (JP) and Olorogun (Engr.) Theo Mukoro, both in Ughelli, Delta State in continuation of his consultation visits.

Olorogun O’tega Emerhor thanked Chief Olori for welcoming his team to his house, promising that he will not fail the Urhobo people because the time has come for them to take their rightful position in the polity of Nigeria.

He said; “I am not going to the senate for selfish interest, I will bring development to our land; I want to assure our people of a better deal when elected a senator in the forthcoming bye-election in the district.”

While welcoming OLorogun Emerhor and his team to his house, Chief Olori, promised the team that he is going to work with Olorogun O’tega Emerhor in his quest to clinch the Delta Central Senatorial seat, noting that what Urhobos want was a radical politician who can deliver the dividends of democracy to the Urhobo people.

He said; “Let us settle our differences and leave the past behind us. Olorogun Emerhor is the son that the Urhobos needed to move from its present political marginalization. Olorogun Emerhor has a good name and it is only those that have a good name that the Urhobos will give their votes to. I will stand with you in this your quest to represent the Urhobos at the Senate.”

Chief Olori also prayed for Olorogun Emerhor to succeed in his ambition of going to the Senate, promising that he will mobilize the youths in Ughelli to support him when the time for the bye-election comes.

At the residence of Olorogun Theo Mukoro, a closed door meeting between him and the campaign team was held.
