Delta State Commandant, CC Suleimon A. Jimoh of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) has decorated newly promoted officers of the Command.

The promoted officers who are over Eighty (80) beneficiaries of the recent 2023 promotions in Delta State Command were elated and appreciative of the efforts of the leadership of the Corps under the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi. PhD, Mni, OFR to motivate officers while repositioning them for greater performance and service delivery.

The decoration ceremony was attended by Service Commanders of other Security Agencies in Delta State such as the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Army 63 Brigade, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, Directorate of State Servic(DSS), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and friends and well wishers.

Commandant Suleiman in his remarks expressed his appreciation to Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi Commandant General of the NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi. Ph. D, Mni, OFR, Commandant General of the NSCDC and the entire management of the Corps for the great gesture which came as a massive promotion of officers, he prayed that God almighty will continue to guide them.

Commandant Suleiman charged the promoted officers to take their elevation as a tunic to do more for the Corps in it’s determination to provide security for Critical National Assets and Infrastructures (CNAI) in their areas of operations.

He called on them to main good and cordial relationship in the their daily lives as well as operationally, he also encouraged the promoted officers to brace up for the task ahead.

The goodwill messages from the Service Commanders were directed towards encouraging the beneficiaries to do more if the Corps must achieve significantly in this era of challenging level of insecurity in the nation.
