As the Delta State Local Government electioneering campaign comes to an end, the People’s Democratic Part in the state have called on Deltans to vote for the party in Saturday’s election.

At the grand finale of campaigns at Warri South, the Chairman of PDP Warri South Local Government Area, Barr Val Areyinka urged people in the area to vote for the PDP Chairmanship candidate, Dr Michael Tidi, his Vice, Mrs Divine Iniovosa and their counselors.

He said PDP has one of the best chairmanship candidate in the person of Dr Michael Tidi, noting that Dr Tidi is a very vibrant young man who has all the academic qualifications to continue as the chairman of the council.

“Dr Michael Tidi is a very young and vibrant young man who has done well in his first tenure. He has all the qualifications that you need to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

“He is one of the best chairmanship candidate we have in the whole of Delta State and we believe that he has all it takes to continue as the chairman of the council,” Areyinka said.

Areyinka said Saturday’s election is going to be very crucial election as the election will determine what will happen in 2023 general elections.

He vowed that the PDP will do all it can to take over the reigns of power from the hands of APC in 2023.

“This election is very crucial to us in PDP. This election will determine what will happen in 2023. Today there is hunger everywhere because of what APC government has been doing to the people. Our people are dying of hunger everyday, but come 2023 we are going to take over Abuja,” Areyinka said.
