According to Barr. Aibagbee, “a Crescenter never dies. We are here remembering Dean Omonuwa 15 years after because a member is never forgotten. He is forever in our hearts. We were at his grave side 24 hours prior this memorial match and we have also sent a high powered delegation to his family. He was and still one of us. A Crescenter lives forever”.

The late Dean Omoruwa was a barrister at law as well as an administrator of repute, combining family life and recreation as a leisure footballer before he was cut down at his prime.
