The Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, and other party leaders in the state has been commended for their leadership role and joint efforts in ensuring a peaceful conduct of ward, local government and state congresses held recently across the state.

Speaking to newsmen at the local government congress held at the Warri South Local Government party secretariat, Hon. Tete, a member of the Legislative Arm in the local government expressed delight with the turnout of members of the party, who in turn conducted themselves peacefully before, during and after the congress.

According to him, the peaceful nature of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) congress is an indication that the people of Warri South fully support the SMART-Agenda of the present administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. The lawmaker also enjoined the newly elected executives to be transparent and shun sectionalism.
