All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd ) Wednesday urged Nigerians to arm themselves with their permanent voters cards (PVC) in the upcoming general elections, just he  promised to rehabilitate the four Refineries in Nigeria if elected the president of the country.

General Buhari made this statement in Warri during a campaign rally held at the Warri City Stadium.

Addressing his supporters Gen. Buhari said: “We all know the issue facing this country is security and the destruction of the economy. Our objective is clear and we intend to steer this country in the right direction as soon as we come into power. Were do not like the unemployment and the suffering in the education sector, the lack of health care and the destruction of infrastructure? I assure you that we will outline ourselves to our manifesto and ensure that we succeed within the shortest possible time.

“APC government will look for competent, committed Nigerians who will man ministries and parastatals So that we can make rapid development. We need you to cooperate with us and the cooperation that we need from you is that you make sure you get your permanent voters card So that on Election Day you will come out and vote for APC. You should also make sure that your votes count.”

He added that PDP has failed to address the problem of corruption in the country, urging his supporters to get hold of their permanent voter’s card ready so as to vote PDP out of power.

Gen. Buhari also emphasis that if he is voted into power in the next general elections, his government is going to concentrate more on agriculture and mining. He said the country has a lot of potential in agriculture and mining sectors.

On the issue of unemployment, Buhari said he is going to address the issue by providing three million jobs for the teeming unemployed youths in the country.

Continuing he added: “If you allow PDP to continue to rule this country, you will wake up one day to find out that you do not have a country. Tell me where else will you relocate to order than the country you know? We are going to improve the unemployment in the country through agriculture and mining because other sectors need money and professionals. We are going to revive the four Refineries we have – two in PortHarcourt, one in Warri and one in Kaduna. We are also going to revive the pipelines and depots So that we can realize maximum profits from the petroleum industry.”

Earlier, the National Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Odigie John Oyengu, who presented the party flag to the Delta State APC gubernatorial candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, urged Deltans to vote for all APC party candidates in the next general elections.

Oyengu said APC government, if elected into power, will make sure that it provides free meals for all primary school children in public schools.

He said APC will take care of all the aged people in the country by providing them social security.

Onyegu said the party has over twelve million supporters, urging them to vote for Gen. Buhari in the upcoming general elections because “Buhari is an incorruptible man and he is going to restore hope to Nigeria.

On his part, the Delta State APC gubernatorial candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor while receiving the party flag from chief Oyegun, said APC is the only party in the country that can bring about the desired change that Nigerians have been clamouring for.
