Wife of the Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial Candidate, Olorogun (Mrs) Rita Emerhor recently stormed Oleh, Ughelli and Udu markets as part of her effort to complement her husband’s campaign rally, putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society as she dolls out cash and other food items to them.

The wife of the business guru and financial expert was received by hundreds of market women in the various towns she visited singing her praises and that of her husband, dancing and jubilating as she stepped out to identify with the less privileged in the market. The market women who could not hide their happiness praised the wife of APC gubernatorial candidate for making out time to come and relate with market women saying that no other gubernatorial candidate’s wife has ever come to meet with them.

Addressing the women, Olorogun (Mrs.) Rita Emerhor called on the women to vote for the APC gubernatorial candidate, noting that Emerhor will liberate the women from the shackles of enslavement brought about by the purposeless and visionless ruling party.

She added that under the administration of APC, women and children in the state will enjoy free health care services, good schools, free education, and free meals for all primary school children, saying that money will be made available for them to improve their businesses and set up new ones.

She said her husband has set aside N10 billion which will be used as loans to them and their children who have graduated and are still in the labour market. She said the money will be used to empower the women and youths in the state as it will be enable them set up their own businesses without necessarily going to the banks to look for loans. She said the money will be loaned to the women and their children through the local government council areas where they can have access to the money.

The President, Delta State Traders and Market Leaders (DESTMAL), Chief (Mrs.) Queen Aminoma thanked Olorogun (Mrs.) Emerhor for her kind gesture promising that they will mobilize all the women to support and vote for the Delta State APC gubernatorial candidate in the February election.
