A woman identified as Mrs Odirin Benjamin has just delivered a baby at Okowa campaign ground at Isiokolo, Ethiope East local government area of Delta State.

According to our correspondent who witnessed the delivery of the new born baby on Tuesday, the woman was at the campaign ground oblivious of the fact that she was going to put to bed.

While music was blaring from the stage as the people were waiting for the arrival of the governor, the MC in charge of the programme announced that a woman was giving birth at the back the venue of the event.

The medical team of governor Okowa were quickly alerted about the emergency and they rushed to the place were the woman who had already put bed was and took care of her.

The woman and her new born baby girl were immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the area for adequate medical attention.
