Following the unabated wave of insurgency and terrorism across the country, particularly the northern part, a renowned medical practitioner cum philanthropist, Dr. Andrew Warri, has called for the taming of “this monster.”

Dr. Warri who is gunning for the governorship seat of Delta State spoke at Sunshine Delta Office, Asaba, headquarters of his campaign organization, when members of the Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party Youth Vanguard, visited him to solicit his patronship, recently.

According to the philanthropist whose pet project, Health Mission International, has provided free healthcare services to over three million persons across all the  States in the Niger Delta region “the problem of Boko Haram could be likened to Frankestein Monster,” urging Nigerians to rise up and stem the tide of terrorism in the country. “Enough is enough. We must all rise and stop these monsters,” he said.

Meanwhile, the governorship hopeful has commended the Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, for roundly developing the state. In his words, “the Governor has done very well.”

He however noted that there were rooms for improvement and consolidation. According to the Burutu-born medical practitioner, “we can always improve upon what has been achieved, no matter how good or great. That is why the largest room on earth is that of improvement.”
