AKOKU COMMUNITY FELICITATES WITH OCHOR

Akoku community in Ukwuani Local Government Area have felicitated with Rt. Hon. Christopher Ochor Ochor, Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly(DTHA) on his victory during the March 2019 general elections and his subsequent emergence as the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

The community leaders made up Chiefs in council, led by High Chief John Ochor paid Rt. Hon. Ochor Ochor, Deputy Speaker courtesy visit to his office to felicitate with him, especially as he is the first elected lawmaker from Ukwuani State Constituency to occupy such exalted position.

They prayed God to grant him wisdom and vision to contribute to the development of the local government area and Delta State.

On the demise of his late father, Late Chief Francis Anamali-Ochor, the community leaders prayed for the repose of his soul just as they asked God to give the children and Umutu community the strength to bear the loss.

Responding, Rt. Hon. OchorOchor, Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) expressed his appreciation to the delegation and the Akoku community, he promised to work on their requests and to ensure a holistic attention to all within his immediate constituency.

According to Hon. Ochor Ochor, “I thank you for this visit. I am grateful, I had listened to your requests, though you came to felicitate and condole with me. My promise to you and the people of Ukwuani is to attract government attention to our area.”
