A Warri based lawyer and APC House of Assembly hopeful, Barrister Ariyo Robinson

Barrister Ariyo Robinson

has urged Deltans not to be patient with failed politicians, urging them to kick them out in the 2015 general elections.

Speaking at the Warri NUJ’s Searchlight on the State of the State, Barrister Ariyo implored Deltans to vote out those politicians that have failed to deliver on their electoral promises over the years.

While saying that Deltans have had bad governance in the past 16 years, Barrister Ariyo said Deltans must use the 2015 general election to teach failed politicians a bitter lesson.

The lawyer who is contesting the Warri South Constituency 1 into the Delta State House of Assembly under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) claimed that Deltans were living terribly, no thanks to bad governance, describing Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan as a monumental failure.

According to him; “We have had bad governance in the past 16 years. Our people are living in terrible condition. We live in a state where there is no consultation with the people. We have had a government of the very few. We have been so beaten by our failed politicians. A society of social justice is what we want. What we have in Delta State is not how to run a state”

He promised to build synergy with his colleagues if elected in order to attract the needed development to the people, adding that it was possible to have people oriented government. We have good and bad politicians.

Barrister Ariyo vowed not to join the ship of bad politicians; “because I am not bad and I will not be bad to my people if elected. I have been consistent and I will not derail if elected; go out there and investigate me. Human beings are very complicated. We have so many bad politicians, but I am coming to salvage my people. I am prepared to serve my people, as it is now; there is no retreat and no surrender for me.”

According to him, “Governor Uduaghan has messed up; he has failed Deltans and that is why he has so many troubles. Bad politicians should be voted out of office by the people.”
