In what seems like an open confession, the Labour Party Senatorial candidate for Delta Central and former Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Obaisi (Barr) Ovie Omo-Agege has said that they had always rigged out Chief Great Ogboru in previous elections and vowed that it will never happen again.

Speaking during the flag-off campaign of Chief Ogboru of Labour Party, Chief Omo-Agege revealed how they denied Chief Ogboru of winning the governorship seat of the state in the past, saying that they always rigged him out even though he won all the elections.

He said Chief Ogboru won all the governorship elections against Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in the past but was rigged out adding “Chief Great won all the previous elections but always rigged him out. I was part of it then but it will never happen again.

Chief Omo-Agege, who said he would ensure that Chief Ogboru is not rigged out in the coming governorship election in the state described him as deserving to rule the state this time around.

According to him, “I want to tell all of you that Chief Ogboru has never lost any election, we have always rigged him out, but this time around, I will ensure that your votes count; he has always won all his elections.”

Chief Omo-Agege also said, “Time for the liberation of Delta State has come. Chief Ogboru is the only man that can bring that change to Delta State. We need a fresh air; we need somebody new. Chief Ogboru is a successful businessman and he will run Delta State successfully and he wants to create jobs for our army of unemployed youths.”
