The Executive Council of Warri South Local Government Area, on Monday, condole with the family of the Secretary to the Warri South Local Government Area, Mr Joseph Oribioye, over the demise of his mother, late Mrs Evelyn Oribioye.

Dr Michael Tidi, Chairman of the council, who led the Exco members of the council to the condolence visit, prayed God to grant the Oribioye family the fortitude to bare the lost.

Tidi said Mrs Oribioye had left an indelible mark on earth, appealing to the children to continue with the legacy she had left with them.

He said though he was not happy paying condolence visit to people close to him, he had no choice but to mourn with those that are morning just as the bible had admonished.

Tidi said, “We are here to condole with the Oribioye family. The woman that has just passed on is the mother of our workerholic Secretary to the Warri South Council Area.

“It’s really painful to lose someone. But this is the sad reality of life. The Bible instructed us that we should mourn with those who are mourning.”

Responding, Oribioye thanked the council for mourning with them in their time is sorrow.

Those in the entourage of the chairman were; Dr. (Mrs) Minnie Igbrude, Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management, Geoffrey Anamali, Assistance Director Administration, Pastor Gabriel Ogona, Patricia Edun, Supervisor for Environment, Sunny Bodor, Supervisor for Health, Oghenetega Kokoyo, Supervisor for Agriculture.

Others are; Egboboyen Ovigwe Eniye, supervisor for Education, Sunny Mabiaku Omene, Supervisor for Youths, Sports and Culture, amongst others.
