The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB), Sir Patrick Akporuno has said that PPEB is set to changed it operational structure in order to reposition the Board for enhanced productivity and qualitative service delivery to Deltans.

Sir Akporuno who disclosed this during his first meeting between members of the Board and members of the staff in the PPEB, stressed that the Board would, in line with its mandate, initiate measures that would take secondary education in the state to a higher pinnacle.

“In carrying out the changing exercise in the Board, some members of staff would have to be redeployed from their present.offices to other departments in the Board. Nobody should stay in a particular office or department for ever,” he said.

Continuing he said: “We are going to re-deploy Directors in the Board in order to stimulate efficiency in the service delivery mechanism of the Board.

“Indiscipline would not in any way be tolerated in the Board. You are appointed into the Board to work, and have been given the necessary.instruments to work with so as to make PPEB better than the way we met it.

“Also we are open to constructive criticism that would engender sustainable development in the Board. I observed that the Board is quite deficient in staff strength. But we are going to look into that.”

He further appreciate the collectively efforts put in place by members of staff of the Board to move it to greater height by adding value to the system.
