The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Lands and Survey in Bayelsa State, Mr. Moses Tiebowei has commended Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah for the development of youths in sports activities in the State.

Mr. Tiebowei, the former chairman of the Unique Inter Community Football Competition sponsored by Hon. Tonye Isenah, the renowned sports lover and educationist, has  described Hon. Isenah as a distinguished Odi son who had created a niche for himself in sponsoring the great sports tournament as a welcome development from the Honourable member.

He said that The Odi Inter Community Football Tournament has been on for several years, adding that the 2013 edition was sponsored by Hon. Isenah Tiebowei,  even as hw adviced Isenah to continually sponsor the sports tournament.
The chairman advised the youths to take sports seriously, stressing sports being one of the highest paid jobs in the world is also good for their physical well being.

Tiebowei also described the tournament as very superb one where some hidden talents had been discovered, adding that the attendance was very encouraging.

Hon. Tonye E. Isenah, while speaking to newsmen, thanked the Deputy Speaker of Bayelsa
State House of Assembly, Hon. Sam Ateke, and other Honourable members, commissioners and other invitees for gracing the occasion.

Isenah pledged to sponsor the tournament fir as long as he remains in office, appealing to youths in Odi Kingdom and Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area to always maintain peace and support the restoration Government of Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson. He further noted that Sports
is money, this day, tasking youths to always be very serious in sporting activities so Hon. Isenah added.

At the end of the Odi inter community football tournament, Ebereze won the first prize, Ekperiama second, and lastly, Ogboloma community who all went home with a cash gift and a trophy. Other awardees include best goal keeper, highest scorer among others.

Chairman Kolokum/Opokuma Local Government Council Hon. Iselema Gbarabiri, commended Hon. Isenah for the love he has for the youths.
