Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Hon (Barrister) Evelyn Oboro and the state Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Chairman, Barrister Kingsley Esiso, during Thanksgiving service at Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, organized by the Federal lawmaker, Hon Oboro.

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Olorogun Daniel Ighedo has lauded a  Nigerian  Lawmaker, Hon (Barrister) Evelyn Omavowan  Oboro for  empowering  her constituents with  Multi Million Naira Empowerment.

Speaking to our Correspondent  on Sunday  at a thanksgiving cum empowerment programme organised by the member representing Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Evelyn Omavowan Oboro, the PDP Chieftain commended the lawmaker for the gesture.

Olorogun Ighedo, a prominent chief in Uvwie Local Government Area of the state,described the lawmaker as a good representative of her people.

He said that this was not the first time the lawmaker was empowering her constituents and urged her not to relent in reaching out to her people.

Olorogun Ighedo said that;” I want to sincerely commend our lawmaker, Hon Evelyn Omavowan Oboro for the empowerment of her constituents today. She has done it before and now she is doing it again. In her first tenure, she empowered over Five Hundred people in an  empowerment programme running into millions of Naira, she gave out so many things out to her constituents,including cars. She also at a time organized free medical services for her constituents and today she is empowering her constituents again. She promised to empower over a thousand people in this her second tenure. She should be commended for what she is doing in this our Federal Constituency”.

“I must tell you that nobody has represented this Federal Constituency before in this way like our current lawmaker is doing. She is a good representative of her constituents and it is my prayer for God to continue to bless her in order for her to sustain what she has started. Am really impressed with her representation. Most lawmakers do not go back to their constituents after election, but that is not the case with our own. Hon Evelyn Omavowan Oboro is a grassroots politician and so she is always reaching out to her people. We really need more lawmakers like her in our country”, he said.

According to him also; ” As you can see, today she is putting smiles on the faces of her constituents with this empowerment programme running into millions of Naira. She should be emulated by other lawmakers. Our people are proud of her. And am using this medium to appeal to her constituents to continue to support her. She has attracted so many things to this Federal Constituency.She has made our society a better place. She is a true leader with the heart of gold.

“Today, she is giving out Tricycles (Keke), Motorcycles (Okada), Deep Freezers, Generators, Grinding Machines, Sewing Machines, Hair Dryers and others”, he disclosed.

The PDP Chieftain who congratulated Hon. Oboro for always identifying  with her constituents drummed for more support for the Federal lawmaker, saying that the sky was just her starting point.
