A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Olorogun Daniel Ighedo has congratulated  a  Nigerian  Lawmaker, Hon (Barrister) Evelyn Omavowan  Oboro on her birthday.

In a statement made available  to our Correspondent, the PDP Chieftain felicitated with  the member representing Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Evelyn Omavowan Oboro, as she marks her birthday today.

Olorogun Ighedo, a prominent chief in Uvwie Local Government Area of the state,described the lawmaker as a good representative of her people and wished her many fruitful years and services to humanity.

Olorogun Ighedo said that;” I want to sincerely congratulate  our lawmaker, Hon Evelyn Omavowan Oboro on her birthday today. Am glad that our dynamic lawmaker was born today some years ago and I join millions of others in felicitating with her and pray God to continue to bless her with good health and wisdom”.

The PDP Chieftain added that;” I want to also use this medium to correct the impression that she was born December 18 as carried in my congratulatory message of that day, she was actually born December 24. It is my prayer that God should continue to empower our people oriented lawmaker in order for her to continue with the  empowerment of her constituents.”

“Am impressed with the empowerment programme of our Federal lawmaker and as she Celebrates her birthday today, I want to implore  her not to relent in her efforts of alleviating the plight of our people. We are proud of what she is doing for her constituents. She has been empowering the people and she did it again recently. May God continue to shower her with good things of life”, he said in the press statement.

Olorogun Ighedo recalled that;”In her first tenure, she empowered over Five Hundred people in an  empowerment programme running into millions of Naira, she gave out so many things out to her constituents,including cars. She also at a time organized free medical services for her constituents and only recently, she is empowered her constituents again. She promised to empower over a thousand people in this her second tenure. She should be commended for what she is doing in this our Federal Constituency and let us celebrate her on this occasion of her birthday”.

“I must say it for the whole world to hear that  nobody has represented this Federal Constituency before in this way like our current lawmaker is doing. She is a good representative of her constituents and it is my prayer for God to continue to bless her in order for her to sustain what she has started. Am really impressed with her representation. Most lawmakers do not go back to their constituents after election, but that is not the case with our own. Hon Evelyn Omavowan Oboro that we are celebrating her birthday today, December 24, 2016  is a grassroot politician and so she is always reaching out to her people. We really need more lawmakers like her in our country”, he said.

According to him also; ” She has brought joy to our people through her  empowerment programme that is always running into millions of Naira. She should be emulated by other lawmakers. Our people are proud of her. And am using this occasion of her birthday to appeal to her constituents to continue to support her. She has attracted so many things to this Federal Constituency.She has made our society a better place. She is a true leader with the heart of gold”.

The PDP Chieftain while  congratulating Hon. Oboro on her birthday and for always identifying  with her constituents drummed for more support for the Federal lawmaker.
