Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo

 

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated one time Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and former Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo as he clocks 60 years on Saturday December 9, 2017.

The Governor described Senator Aguariavwodo as a distinguished Senator who represented his people of Delta Central at the Senate where he remained committed as a dedicated, loyal and capable leader.

In a goodwill message on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Charles Aniagwu, Governor Okowa said; Senator Aguariavwodo had every cause to celebrate and thank God Almighty for His benevolence on the joyful occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.

While congratulating the Urhobo leader, the Governor maintained that the sterling contributions of Aguariavwodo to the development of the Urhobo nation, Delta State and Nigeria is commendable and urged him to promote ideals that will further unify the people of Delta Central as a formidable leader of repute.

“Your contributions as a former Member House of Representatives and the second Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission cannot be over emphasised.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta State, I congratulate you and pray that Almighty God continues to strengthen, guide and prosper you,” adding “As you deservedly celebrate this landmark anniversary, it is my prayer that Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and many more years of happiness.

“I join your families, friends, well-wishers and political associates to thank Almighty God for His continued guidance, protection and provision for you in the past 60 years of a life of forthrightness and outstanding patriotism with which He has blessed you.”
