…Says APC, Expired Drug Fit For No good

The new chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Delta South Senatorial district,  Chief Emmanuel Agbaduba has charged PDP members in the senatorial district to work with him to promote the SMART agenda policy of Governor Ifeany Okowa.

The PDP, Delta South senatorial district chairman gave this charge today during the formal inauguration of PDP Delta South Senatorial district executive  at Government House Annex, Warri.

Chief Agbaduba also called on the newly inaugurated PDP Delta South senatorial executive to be above board in carrying out their duties.

He promised to anchor his administration on all inclusive policies that will carry along all members of the party in the senatorial district.

He said, “I want all members of the party to join hands with me to promote the SMART agenda of this present administration of His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifean Arthur Okowa, the governor of Delta state.”

Chief Agbaduba stressed that with the support and commitment of the party in the state, he is going to lead the party to an enviable height.

He however, noted that the averred victory of the party now and in the future will continue to depend on the party’s team spirit, loyalty and focus towards delivering democraric dividends to the good people of the state.

Speaking to newsmen, Chief Agbaduba said Delta state is a PDP state and vowed that they will continue to retain the number one status in the state.

He said, “Delta state is a PDP state and we intend to keep it that way and if anything, we will add the federal level to it. We have seen the works of APC, it is an expired drug, fit for no good and we will treat that change appropriately so that the dividend of democracy can filter down to the grassroots.”

He promised to work with the Delta PDP state executive under Barr. Kingsley Esiso to ensure that Governor Okowa is returned to power come 2019.

He noted that the above will only be achieved by working closely with the state government’s “SMART” agenda through transparency.

Chief Agbaduba also revealed that the party was going to set up a strategy committee that will strategize for the party at the senatorial level, a reconciliation committee that will look into the issue of aggrieved members, a contact committee that reach out to members who are sympathetic to PDP course and persuade them to come home.

He added while the party is trying to reconcile all aggrieved members, it was also going to set up a disciplinary committee that will evoke the constitution of the party as required.

The Delta state deputy governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro who was represented by the Political Adviser to Governor Ifeany Okowa, Hon. Omimi Esqiure, congratulated the newly inaugurated Delta south executive, urging them to keep the unity of members their topmost one priority.

Those inaugurated include; Mr. John Okoroloko, state assistant secretary, Hon. Deighan Macaulay, state treasurer, Barr. Bernard Odior, State legal adviser, Mr. Bino Obowamano, state youth leader, Mr. Isaac Aguanah, state ex- officio and Mr. George Goiti, state ex-officio.

Others are, Chief Mrs. Vero Tamgbowei, senatorial woman leader, Mrs. Helen Egbe, Assistant Senatorial Woman Leader, Mr. Stanley Agbaosa, senatorial youth leader, Mr. Charles Ekiyo, assistant senatorial youth leader, Mr. Arthur Akpodubakaye, senatorial ex-officio, Mr. Joseph Oyazimo, Senatorial ex-officio Hon. Ajiri Atunuje, senatorial ex-officio Mrs. Onome Ogbeni,  senatorial ex-officio.
