The National Association of Seadogs, _Pyrates Confratenity_ will on Monday, October 1, 2018 hold her *Annual Law Day* as part of activities to mark *Nigeria’s Independence Day Anniversary*.

According to a statement by Martin Ene Edah Esq., Cap’n, Rainbow Deck, the theme of the event, which is the seventh in the series, is: _*”Progressive Retrogression of the Nigerian Democratic Experience . . . 58 Years and Still Counting!”*_

The occasion will be chaired by Retired Honourable Justice Jonathan Ediri Shakarho, while the keynote address on _*”Cross Carpeting of the Elected – Is it ideological or a Deficit Thereof?”*_ will be delivered by Professor Atare Otite of the Department of Political Science, Delta State University, Abraka.

The statement adds that renowned constitutional lawyer, Ikhide Ehighelua Esq., will deliver the Law Day Lecture with the title _*”National Security and the Rule of Law in Nigeria Under A Democratic Dispensation!”*_

The special event, which is open to the general public and promises to be interactive, is slated to kick-start and terminate at 9.00 am and 12.00 noon respectively. It will hold at the Rainbow Deck Ankor Point, Esievo Lane, Effurun, Delta State.

Other expected guests who will also form the Panel of Discussants include the National President of NUPENG – Comrade Williams Akporeha, the National Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Bar Association – O. O. Edun Esq., the Chairman, NBA Warri Branch – Mike Asugo Esq., and foremost Constitutional Lawyers Larry Ovwromoh Esq., Dr. Akpo Mudiaga Odje, Akpovi Odjoh Esq., Fred Ziregbe Esq., Michael Ukusare Esq., Fred Olokor Esq., and Ayo Asala Esq., the immediate past Chairman, NBA Udu Branch.
