Archbishop Philip Orovwuje JP, Director, Media & Publicity Sub Committee, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Council in the February 25, 2023 Presidential Election, Chief Tuesday Onoge and others have visited ailing Comr. Frank Kokori on his sick bed in a Warri hospital.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Chief Onoge said that they were mandated by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, former Deputy President of the Senate and Delta State APC Governorship candidate in the last general election who could not make the trip.

According to Chief Onoge, Senator Agege apologized for delay in the visit saying, it was occasioned by lack of information on the sickness of Comr. Kokori on time.

Chief Onoge added, “the leadership of APC in Delta State and Senator Omo-Agege are very sorry to have come late to see you, it was not intentional but the information of the condition of your health did not get to us on time. Going by the roles you have played in Nigeria’s growth and development and his personality, it is not out of place for you to be moved abroad for better medical attention.”

He however expressed happiness that the former General Secretary of NUPENG is recovering very fast. The team then prayed for speedy recovery of the Elder Statesman.

Also speaking, Archbishop Orovwuje disclosed that Senator Omo-Agege has high regards for Comr. Kokori hence the high powered delegation was mandated to check on him on his sick bed to find out if there is any other thing, probably, move him out of the country to get better attention medically.

He expressed happiness that the elder statesman, Comr. Kokori is
recovering very fast saying, from the way Comr. Kokori responded showed that he is in a stable condition and wished him speedy recovery.

Archbishop Orovwuje who is also Chairman, Agege United Leaders & Elders Forum(AGULEF) said that since Comr. Kokori is satisfied with his receiving treatment in that hospital, there is no need to move him abroad for treatment, adding, “we have to respect his wish of receiving treat where he is now”.

Archbishop Orovwuje disclosed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national level under President Bola Tinubu is working assiduously to implement people-oriented policies for the overall general good of Nigerians, he solicited the cooperation of Nigerians for the Tinubu-led administration to enable him succeed in the task of giving the nation good governance.

Responding, Comr. Kokori who is obviously elated and showing signs of fast recovery expressed his appreciation to the group for the visit saying that if he had wished he be moved abroad for medical attention, good spirited Nigerians have volunteered to do so but he chose to remain in the present hospital to enable him have stable condition.

He then prayed for the APC leadership, Senator Omo-Agege and the entire team for the visit.
