The Buhari Campaign Organisation and Warri South Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have joined millions of Nigerians across the country to celebrate the victory of the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari in the March 28, 2015 Presidential/National Assembly elections.

The ceremony took place recently at the private residence of one of the staunch supporters of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari; Mr. Charles Omadeli in the oil rich city of Warri, Delta State.

Mr. Omadeli, a politician cum businessman said at the event that truly change has come to the people of Nigeria, saying Buhari’s victory will make Nigeria work again and bring succour to the long suffering people of the country.

He said General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) is on a mission to restore Nigeria from the hands of corrupt leaders who have ruined the nation for the inception of Democracy in Nigeria.

According to him “Winning an incumbent government has never happened in the history of Nigeria. Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria. It is the will of God that a change of government has occurred; it is not just about APC victory alone but victory of the country and its citizenry.”

Hear Omadeli, “the party remains grateful to God and the Nigerian electorate for the APC victory in the last Presidential and National Assembly elections, adding that Nigerians should use the Easter period as a reflection for good things to happen to the people of Nigeria”.

“We are also commending President Goodluck Jonathan for the rare sportsmanship he exhibited by conceding defeat and congratulating General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), even before Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, formally declared him as the winner,” he said.

While reassuring General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), that Buhari Campaign Organisation/APC Warri South Chapter will always support him to enable him succeed in his rescue mission for Nigeria, adding that “Our party will not discriminate against any Nigerian on the basis of religion, region, ethnicity or gender. We are all God’s own people. It is not only about celebration of victory, it is about seriousness of governance”
