Eighty-four (84) pupils/students of the Emmakes Nursery/Primary/Secondary School, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State graduated with Certificate Honours during the 2013 Graduation/Prize-Giving Day Celebration.

Our correspondents report that the graduands include thirty-five (35) KG 3; twenty-five (25) Primary 6 and twenty-four (24) J.S.S. 3 were awarded their certificates by the Principal, Mr. Okei Chukwudi and other respected teachers.

Addressing the parents/guardians of the young graduates, Mr. Okei Chukwudi, who is also the Chairman of the occasion said that; “God blessed you with babies whom you took on to your laps, you raised them and brought them to us as teenagers; it was our responsibilities to train and educate them.”

He said, “We release them into life as well-talented and highly- educated persons in the society and thanked all contributors/staff of the school to the success recorded by his administration.”

The ceremony was colorful and the pupils, students expressed their happiness and promise to be good citizens. And their families, loved-ones, friends and well wishers, were thrilled to the fullness.

High point of the occasion was the presentation of certificates to the graduands.
