Chief Felix Oghenegweke Ekiregwho has been installed the Uzzi (traditional Prime Minister) of Oghara Kingdom in a colourful ceremony at the palace of HRM Noble Eshemitan, Orefe 111, Ovie of Oghara Kingdom.

The installation and confirmation of the traditional cap on the new Uzzi was done by Julius Oki, the Ekpe (oldest man) in Oghara Kingdom.

Speaking after the confirment of the Uzzi, HRM Eshemitan, Ovie of Oghara Kingdom expressed delight that the installation of the Uzzi has brought balance to the traditional political system of the Kingdom adding that the team is now complete for the Kingdom to now move forward without hindrances.

The Ovie disclosed that the new Uzzi is a forthright person who will add value to the Oghara traditional political administration, he expressed his appreciation to all his chiefs for coming to rejoice with the new Uzzi just as he also advised the new Uzzi to rise up to the responsibility of the office.

In his comments, Chief Vincent Atumah, the Unuevworo of Ogharefe and former vice chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Council said that Uzzi Ekiregwho, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police is a round peg in a round whole whom the cap fits.

According to Chief Atumah, Uzzi Ekiregwho possess the requisite qualities and other qualification which quicken his selection as the new Uzzi of Oghara Kingdom, he added that with his experience, the new Uzzi will contribute immensely to the traditional administration of Oghara Kingdom.

On his part, Chief William Makinde, immediate past Managing Director of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Developing Commission (DESOPADEC)who hails from the same quarter in Oghareki with the new Uzzi described the Uzzi as a man with quality and academic balance, who will surely contribute to the development of Oghara Kingdom.

On his part, Chief Godwin Orhioru who expressed joy that the vacant position of the Uzzi has been filled with the best person describe the new Uzzi as a man with experience who will surely contribute to the development of Oghara Kingdom.

The new Uzzi was born in 1942, a retired police officer, he replaced late Chief Samson Takpor who died last year.
