In its bid to promote the candidature of Goodluck/Sambo for re-election come 2015 across the six geopolitical zones of the country, the Goodluck/Sambo Transformation Partners has recently inaugurated a chapter in Delta State.

In his welcome address, National Coordinator, Goodluck/Sambo Transformation Partners for a Stronger and United Nigeria (GSTP-FSUN) Rev. (Dr.) Silas Success Okwudilichukwu noted that the Federal Government under the Goodluck/Sambo administration has ushered in notable changes hence the clamour for extension beyond 2015.

He said “quite unlike in previous administrations, Nigeria has progressed tremendously under the Goodluck/Sambo administration.

Dr. Silas Okwudilichukwu who was represented by the National Admin Officer(GSTP) Dr. Benjamin Johnson said that: “having seen the giant strides and political manliness, and having been partakers of the initial dividends of the President’s good policies for this nation, as expressed tangibly across the different sectors of the economy, in spite of the unpleasant and turbulent conditions under which the administration has been operating since it came into power in 2011, the issue of security being the chief concern.

He stressed that he believeed that a President who can achieve such great feats in such a turbulent situation has greater things to offer this nation under peaceful circumstances.

He added that: “The first is seen in the fast recovering economy, then when we look at the health sector we see tremendous improvements in the state of our hospitals, drug administration and primary health care, the revamping of the dilapidated power sector, the hitherto lethargic education sector has also been given a significant boost, industrialization has been given a boost, the creation of employment through the You-Win programme and the unbelievable cessation of problems having to do with the supply of petroleum products in the nation has been one of the hallmark of this administration.”

Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated executives, Pastor Monday Ofonmbuk Udoh, State Coordinator, promised to work assiduously to bring the Goodluck/Sambo administration back to power in 2015, “as it stands now Jonathan is already a sellable candidate, secondly we are all from Niger Delta, and as Niger Deltans, we have to support what we have and finally with the catalogues of achievements evident for all to see there is need for continuity.”
