The  Assistant Publicity Secretary/Public Relations Officer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief London Ohwofasa Akpanoko, has congratulated the commissioner for Environment, Chief Barr. Obukohwo Nani on the occasion of his 54th birthday celebration.

The assistant publicity Secretary of the PDP, while chatting with Journalists at the birthday party of the Hon. Commissioner in his country home at Jesse town the administrative headquarter of Idjerhe Kingdom, he described Hon. Nani as a leader with great ideas, a personality filled with the milk of human feelings who has the interest of his people at heart.

Chief Akpanoko, who appraised the commissioner for his foresight in taking Delta State to an era of cleanliness, commended (Nani) him for his dynamism as he wished him many more fruitful years on earth to enable him do more for his good people of Delta State, Idjerhe people and Nigeria in general.

The Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, listed some of the developmental strides of Hon. Nani in Idjerhe Kingdom which made him stand tall amongst other leaders in the community to include, construction of new and rehabilitation of old schools, rehabilitation of failed portions of Idjerhe roads, construction of new once, provision of water, procurement of electricity transformers,.empowerment of both young and old, e.t.c

He emphatically stated that for the good works the Hon. Commissioner is doing across the state, removing debris from the streets and drainage, the Governor is very happy with him including all Deltans that are singing his praises everyday in every home while praying for him to succeed the more.

Chief Akpanoko advised Deltans to further cooperate with the commissioner the more by ensuring they clean up their surroundings so that the state could rank first amongst others when it comes to environmental sanitation, pleading that they must never wait to be told or forced before doing the needful.

He assured that his party the PDP, is poised to wrestle power back at the National level come 2019, as he promised that he will join other team mate in PDP in the state so that they could achieve their objectives, assuring that he will always stand by the rules and regulations of the party of all time noting that they are ready to change the change since many Nigerians are fed up with APC government.
