…Assures Orugbo Ward of more development support


It was massive jubilation for the people of Orugbo Ward 11 in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State as one of their illustrious son and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Misan Leonard Fombo was returned reelected to represent the people in the Warri South Legislative Arm.

Hon. Fombo who was returned elected by the ward returning officer, Mr Gbenebitse Kennedy, under the platform of the ruling party in the state , PDP, got 7427 votes to defeat his distant rival of the APC, Israel Jemine Akinsanya who garnered 217 votes in the just concluded Saturday March 6, Delta State Local Councils Election as conducted by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC across the 25 LGAs in the state.

The Warri South Lawmaker whose constituents are largely into aquaculture fishing and other marine activities however promised to work very hard to liaise with the council executive and relevant government interventionists agencies in order to help clear the water hyacinth affecting fishing activities in his coverage areas.

Hon. Misan Leonard Fombo constituency which is Ward 11 consist of Orugbo, Ajigba , Inorin, Usele, Ugbodede, Ikpisan and other adjoining communities and its environs.

While thanking his constituents for their massive mobilization and votes delivered to him, Hon. Fombo pledged to make laws that will better the lives of Orugbo Ward so as to also attract government attention to the area that make up the ward.

He assured of focusing on educational support programme for pupils and indigent students within his constituency as a way to support their career and encourage zeal for learning as well as quality character molding in order to discourage social vices .

He commended DSIEC for conducting free and fair election, Warr South PDP Chairman, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe leaders of the party and his supporters for their tremendous show of love in making sure he’s reelected to serve the people.
