A socio-political pressure group under the aegis of Delta Central Political Pacesetters (DCPP), has vowed that they would cross-examine the integrity of all political aspirants vying for any political position in Delta State.

The National Chairman of DCPP, Hon. Collins Iriferi-Mukoro, made this vow during the inauguration of the Uvwie Chapter at Oru Standard Hotel, Effurun, during the weekend.

According to Hon. Iriferi-Mukoro, the group is poised to enlighten and bring dividend of democracy to the people of the senatorial district.

He added that DCPP is charge to enlighten the populace to vote wisely for candidates with proven track records of integrity and accountability in the forth coming elections in the state.

The National Chairman said the group is determined to create a door-to-door awareness campaign and to cross examine integrity of political aspirants in nearest elections in the state.

He lamented that the people of Delta Central over the years, have been short-changed by politicians who are only after their personal pockets at the detriment of the entire interest of the people.

He said the inauguration of Uvwie chapter was borne out of the desire for the people of the senatorial district to speak with one voice in order to bring change and correct the errors of the past, adding that DCPP would only support candidates after careful scrutiny.

Amongst those inaugurated to pilot the affairs of the chapter are; Mr. Kako Oghagha (Chairman), Dr. Guobadia W. (Vice Chairman), Anigbobi Uvan (Secretary), Mrs. Egole Mercy (Woman Leader), Hon. Emewakeme Anthony (PRO), Hon. Akosu Akpos (financial Sec.), Hon (Mrs.) Asuquo Pat (Treasurer), Arigbe Adjarho (Youth Leader), Onoruese Edwin (Asst. Sec.) and Hon. Thompson Warren (LGA leader).

Speaking at the inauguration, Uvwie chapter Chairman, Hon Kako Oghagha said the chapter would pursue the dreams of the group with all vigour just as he canvassed for credible leaders.

Present at the inauguration were; Hon. Collins Iriferi-Mukoro (National Chairman DCPP), Hon. Okorodudu Tim (Vice Chairman), Mrs Ojite Odiete (National Secretary), Comrade Ese Umukoro (Asst. PRO), Mr. Anthony Agbude(Youth Leader), Onoriode Goddy (Treasurer), amongst others.
