As the world battles the global pandemic with trepidation, Bishop Ajokparoghene Okijenu (JP) Founder, Praise God Revival Ministry, Effurun, Delta State has proffered a solution to the dreaded virus that would give Nigeria respite.

Bishop Okijenu called on the Federal Government through Dr. Osagie Ehanire, Minister of Health to prevail on Christians and Muslims in the country to join faith to pray for intense rainfall that would last for two to three days or more that would wash away the pandemic from the country.

Bishop Okijenu who had earlier prophesied that the dreaded virus would enter into Delta if the entry points (borders towns)into the state were not properly monitored on Monday, April 6 and less than twenty four hours, the index case was reported in the state disclosed that God is out to heal Nigeria.

According to Bishop Okijenu in his prophecy, “Iam using this opportunity to call on the Federal Government through Dr. Osagie Ehanire, Minister of Health to act swiftly by calling on Christians and Muslims to join their faith to pray in unison for God to bring down heavy rain that will fall for two to three days or more after this Nigeria would be free from the scourge of Coronavirus. This looks too simple but you don’t under estimate the wonderful working power of God.”

While noting that some Nigerians are exploiting the pathetic situation to enrich themselves, the cleric known for fulfilled prophecies disclosed that God in His infinite mercy who revealed the prophecy of healing the nation would not disappoint her people.

He enjoined all Muslims and Christians to, in unity pray for victory over the disease saying that state governments and local governments should all be involved in the prayers for rainfall.

The Bishop is known for fulfilled prophecies amongst which is invasion of Gbaramatu Kingdom by the military during the Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan administration that earned him rebuke from notable Deltans who later turned round to apologize to him because his prediction came to pass.
