A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State and former governorship aspirant in the State, Dr. Esther Uduehi has urged all registered voters to collect their Permanent Voters Registration Card (PVC) to ensure they exercise their right of suffrage and vote in the upcoming elections on February 14 and February 28.

She said she wanted to make sure Deltans do not get short-changed.

In a message addressed to Deltans, the Achiwame I of Ndokwaland stated “please make sure you go and collect your PVCs from the INEC offices in your local government if you have not picked them up. That is the only way, you can vote in the election.”

It should be noted that INEC has stated categorically that no one can vote without the PVC. Also, the low rate of collection of PVCs has been of great concern to politicians who want to make sure the voices of their people are heard through the ballot boxes.
